Bhutan Tour with Columbus

Trekking and touring in Bhutan is a wonderful experience for those who enjoy rich natural habitats, indigenous people and their culture. It offers diverse opportunities for trekking and tours with its splendid scenic beauty, majestic mountains and deep gorges and valleys less affected by the effect of modernization. Geographically, Bhutan ranges from the dense forest of subtropical jungles to the alpine shrubs, endowed with a wide spectrum of flora and fauna. It is thinly populated with scattered settlements. This journey provides unique experience to the visitors.

 
Day to Day Itinerary
Day 01
Arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport. Transfer to a hotel.
Day 02
Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 03
Take early flight to Paro from Kathmandu. Transfer to Thimphu from Paro. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 04
Full day sightseeing in Thimphu. Over night in a hotel.
Day 05
Today, we go to Wangdiphodrang from Thimphu. Overnight in hotel.
Day 06
After having food in Wangduephodrang, we move ahead to Trongsa. Dinner will be served in a hotel.
Day 07
After breakfast, we visit Trongsa Dzong. It was built about 463 years ago. We also visit Ta Dzong. After visiting Ta Dzong, we go for lunch and then drive to Gantey Overnight in a hotel.
Day 08
Full day sightseeing at Gantey. Dinner will be served in a hotel.
Day 09

Today, we go to Paro via Thimphu from Gangtey. Lunch on the way in Thimphu. Overnight halt at Paro.
Day 10
After breakfast, we visit the National Museum which was built in 1656. We also visit Paro Dzong. After lunch in town, we proceed towards Drukgyel Dzong, 14 kilometres from the Paro town. Enroute to Drukgyel, one can view the Taktshang monastery. Return to the hotel. Dinner in hotel.
Day 11
After an early breakfast, we go to board our flight to Kathmandu. Shopping in the afternoon. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 12
Back to home destination.
