Glimpse of Bhutan with Columbus

This tour in Bhutan holds the promise of a deep and refreshing communion with nature in its varying beauty. The varieties of flora include Junipers, Blue Poppy, Rhododendron, Magnolias, Orchids, Daphne, Gentians, etc. There are over 500 species of birds found in Bhutan. It is also a home to a rich wildlife. The inhabitants of Bhutan are warm, simple, hard working and open. The population of Bhutan is categorized into three ethnic groups- the Sharchops, Ngalongs and the Lochampas. In this tour, one can interact with people of the three groups.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 01
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport and then transfer to a hotel.
Day 02
Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley.
Day 03
Early flight to Paro Bhutan. Drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.The drive normally takes about an hour and a half. Dinner will be served in a hotel.
Day 04
Full day sight seeing in Thimphu.
Day 05
Today, we will be heading towards Paro. On the way, we go across Dochula pass situated at 3,140 meters. We will take our lunch in Paro. In the afternoon, we go for sightseeing in Paro. Dinner will be served in a hotel.
Day 06
Full day sightseeing in Paro. The sightseeing includes- Drukgyel Dzong, Takshang Monastery, Paro Dzong,etc. Dinner will be served in a hotel.
Day 07
After an early breakfast, we leave for Kathmandu. In the afternoon, we go for shopping. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 08

Back to home destination.
