Nepal being a land of topographical diversities criss-crossed by high mountains and turbulent rivers evolved a mosaic of diverse ethnic groups with their own individual & distinct culture & economy. Ours is an anthropological garden where diverse race, clans, tribes and indigenous people bloom in the not-to-be-found elsewhere Himalayan atmosphere. They live in the open plains, green hills and rocky mountains with perennial snow. Its varied, most exotic and unparalled physical and natural settings have immensely added to the cultural attributes of her people. Rising gently from the sea level to the highest peak on earth, possessing tropical to arctic climate and vegetation and inhabiting more than 36 ethnic groups speaking over 70 languages, Nepal really stands naturally, geographically & culturally unique in the world.
Detail Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Katmandu. Transfer to Hotel, rest of the day is free.
Day 2: Katmandu and Patan are sightseen. After Katmandu and Patan are sightseen, the following sites are visited:
- Golden Temple.
- Khumbheswar Temple.
- Krishna Temple.
- Patan Durbar Square.
- Tibetan Refugee Camp
Then afternoon, visit to the following historical sites begins:
- Durbar Square of Katmandu.
- Old Bazaar
- Swayambhunath.
Day 3: After breakfast, drive to Bhaktapur, which is situated, at an altitude of 1401m above sea level. The old city was founded by King Anand Dev in 889 AD. Here one can visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Changunarayan Temple, and Palace with 55 windows, Nyatapola and Dattatreya temple. Walk through the bazaar .After lunch, Nagarkot, which is famous for beautiful sunrise & sunset will be visited. Overnight stay in Nagarkot.
Day 4: Early in the morning, after breakfast, move to the airport to fly to Pokhara.Here in Pokhara, one can have a glance at giant Annapurna Mountain and beautiful lakes. From this beautiful place, trekking for Annapurna area begins. Visit Davi's Falls & some renowned temples. Boat ride in the lakes. Bird watching at Sarangkot hill. Dinner in the hotel.
Day 5: After having breakfast, you will be taken journey to Chitwan National Park. After lunch, you will visit Tharu Village and Elephant ride or trek in the dense jungle (Chitwan National Park).Overnight in bungalow enjoying dinner with Tharu Dance.
Day 6: After a cup of tea or coffee, you will be taken for bird watching tour. At PM, Jungle Safari excursion by jeep or bicycle ride to "Twenty Thousand Lakes". Dinner. Over night in bungalow.
Day 7: Having breakfast, journey to Manakamana temple will be taken by Cable car.Pooja at the temple. Lunch is served.Then, back to Daman for panoramic view. Stay overnight at the resort.
Day 8: Back to Kathmandu. Enjoy leisure at your ownwith guide. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 9: After breakfast visit Pashupatinath temple, the most sacred temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, visit of unaccountable small Shiva temples around the sacred river Bagmati where cremation are performed .Further drive to Buddhanath, the biggest stupa of Nepal. Then after, drive to Swyambhunath. Finally, drive to Katmandu Durbar Square. Drive back to hotel.
Day 10: Visited Kirtipur after having breakfast. Here, one can enjoy old shrines & temples, old houses and people dressed in traditional costume while working on ancient looms. Lunch in the hotel. Rest of the day is free.
Day11: Transfer to airport for returning home.
